Our History

Intrascendence is a Chilean musical project founded in 2019 by Rodrigo Del Canto and Felipe Reyes, with the aim of creating an authentic and innovative work that blends conceptual storytelling with a modern, immersive sound. Their style is marked by powerful vocal lines and a fusion of genres that ranges from groove to ambient, always seeking an emotional and sensory connection with the listener.

The lineup was solidified with the arrival of guitarist Omar Alvear, whose virtuosity propelled the band’s debut single, “Beyond a Decaying World”, recorded at Gabelo Studios and released in 2022. Later, Manuel Arriaza joined on keyboards, adding depth and atmospheric richness to their sonic identity.This milestone led to the creation of their self-titled album Intrascendence, a conceptual work of seven songs that explores the journey of consciousness — from primal states, where trust is essential to perceive paths, emotions, and bonds, to an elevated understanding, with love as the essential truth that transcends space and time.

Released on April 7th, 2022, the album has been praised for its compositional maturity, conceptual coherence, and its ability to deeply resonate with listeners. More than just an album, it is an introspective experience that continues to echo in those who seek a transformative musical journey.In 2025, the band entered a new chapter with the addition of acclaimed musicians America Paz on bass and Martín Álvarez on drums — two prodigious talents whose energy, precision, and depth have expanded the emotional and rhythmic range of Intrascendence, reinforcing its essence as both a sonic exploration and a philosophical statement.
